remembering some random-ness

once, a woman told me,

”i had visions

of some ancient

Hindi god when

you first walked

into

the room.

i don’t know her name,

but i saw her

in your face.”

(she nodded as if it were good.)

i never knew what that meant, especially since she didn’t practice Hinduism at all, but was Buddhist. still, though; on the days when i think i’m too small for all of this humanity, i remember people saying things like that to me, and somehow i feel a little bit better.

disturbing (?)

last night,

i had visions

of my own

decapitation.

and i wept,

not because it hurt,

but because

it set me

free.
